DiscHyper app for iPhone and iPad

Use DiscHyper for hyper-local search, specifically to search for posts created using disc-app.com.

DiscHyper extends our DiscPlaces app by adding support for iBeacons. It records the beacons you have most recently been near, and uses this information to get more precise location information, such as which floor of a building you are on. It can also work in nonstationary environments, e.g., if you are on a bus that has a beacon on board.

A key feature of DiscHyper is search suggestions based on your location, e.g, if you are in a Walmart, and type Wa in the search box, DiscHyper will suggest Walmart. If you are searching for sugar, type su and it will suggest sugar, if its nearby.

The results are shown as overlays on a map - click on a thumbnail to get an expanded view of the post.

DiscHyper also autocompletes on places, which makes it easier to focus the map on a place you want to explore.

DiscHyper has support for indoor maps - you can select a building level, and see posts just for that level.
